Quigg Partners has elevated Nick Logan as its newest partner, reported the NZ Law Society.

Logan has been practising with the firm’s employment team since July 2011 following a short clerkship in late 2010. He specialises in employment and workplace safety law.

He has worked with small businesses and multinational entities on all aspects of employment law, including the sale and purchase of businesses, personal grievances, and matters involving the Holidays Act. He has a special interest in the employment law aspects of the startup and tech sectors.

As a seasoned health and safety lawyer, Logan has provided guidance on safety incidents, WorkSafe investigations, and prosecutions. He has also appeared before the Employment Relations Authority, the Employment Court, the High Court and the District Court.

He spent three and a half years practising in the UK and built a list of clients both in the UK and across the globe. He returned to New Zealand in December 2017.

Last week, Quigg Partners was announced among the Excellence Awardees for the LexisNexis Boutique Law Firm of the Year category at the 2024 NZ Law Awards.
