Home-grown talent gives the firm a boost in Sydney and Auckland
Webb Henderson has promoted Antonia Rose and Henry Willis to the partnership.
A disputes expert, Rose joined the firm’s Sydney office in 2015. She works closely with experienced litigator and partner Reay McGuinness, who said she has an “excellent legal intellect.”
“We have worked together for a number of years in different firms. Her proven ability to deal with complex commercial disputes will provide substantial value to our disputes practice,” McGuinness said.
Based in Auckland, Willis is an expert in corporate law. He has particular experience in M&A, capital markets, and restructuring. He joined the firm in 2015 from Russell McVeagh, where he was senior solicitor. He was also an associate at elite New York firm Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft for three years.
“Henry is a very talented corporate lawyer with a depth of experience across the full range of corporate work, including significant expertise in securities law and financial markets regulation, financial restructuring and insolvency. His admission to the partnership further strengthens our New Zealand corporate offering,” said partner Garth Sinclair.
Founding partner Angus Henderson congratulated Rose and Willis.
