SRB welcomes new partners in promotions round

Saunders Robinson Brown (SRB) has welcomed senior associates Yoonha Park and Rebecca Mao to the partnership in a promotions cycle.

Park leads the family law team. She has been with the firm for three years, specialising in relationship property disputes. She has tackled matters involving the Care of Children Act and the Family Violence Act, and has served as Lawyer for Child and Lawyer to Assist the Court.

Mao works with the commercial team. She first joined the firm in 2016, bringing expertise in commercial property and development, leasing, financing, business and corporate advisory, and IP protection.

SRB also elevated Paris Carpenter (trusts and estates) and Jacob Young (commercial) to the position of senior solicitor. Carpenter, who commenced with the firm in 2021, focuses on trusts, estate planning, occupation rights agreements, wills, and powers of attorney. Young joined SRB after graduating in 2022. He has worked on issues related to commercial leasing, property development, and company financing.

Rebecca Lawson was promoted to senior registered legal executive in the trusts and estates team, with which she has worked for a year. She has prepared wills, powers of attorney and trust structuring; moreover, she has experience in estate administration.

Stephanie Whiteley was elevated to legal executive in the property team (subject to the NZILE’s signoff). Nikki Meehan was also promoted to trusts/estates administrator in the trusts and estates team.

All the promotions took effective on 1 April.
