Russell McVeagh seeks scholarship applications

Russell McVeagh is seeking applications for its 2019 scholarships.

The scholarships, which provide $2,000 per year for up to four years, are open to students of any New Zealand university law school. The program offers an additional payment of $6,000 for those who join the firm as a graduate.

In addition to financial assistance, scholars will also receive work experience at the firm, mentoring from a Russell McVeagh solicitor or partner, and the opportunity to summer clerk at the firm in their penultimate year at university.

The firm said it is looking for driven, all-around achievers with impressive academic performance and an interest in commercial law.

The firm is accepting scholarship applications until 5pm on 31 August.
