Rice Craig expands partnership

Rice Craig has promoted Henry Herman to partner.

Herman, who commenced in his new role at the start of the year, expanded the firm’s partnership to six. He was promoted from associate, a role he’s held since 2013.

Herman joined the firm in 2010 after working at large city law firm. He is the leader of the firm’s family law department.

His areas of expertise are family law, including guardianship; relationship property matters; domestic violence; adoption; and spousal maintenance and child support.

John Sieprath, Rice Craig’s senior partner, said that the firm is pleased to recognise not only Herman’s hard work but also his commitment to the firm’s local communities. The new partner has a longstanding and active involvement in the Pacific community, the firm said. Herman is the chair of the Cook Islands Development Agency NZ.

The firm also highlighted that the expansion of its partnership comes as Rice Craig nears the celebration of its centennial anniversary.
