The two Wellington firms will operate under the Rainey Collins banner
Wellington firm Rainey Collins has merged with boutique firm Stephens Lawyers (incorporating Susan D’Ath Law), also based in Wellington.
The combination took effect on 4 August. Both firms will operate under the Rainey Collins banner.
In the process, Rainey Collins welcomed new partner Michael Stephens, consultants Alan Henwood and Susan D’Ath, and senior associate Michelle Quek.
Stephens’ practice focuses on issues related to commercial, private client, film and entertainment. He has also worked on non-profit matters both in New Zealand and globally.
Henwood focuses on tenancy and unit titles concerns. He was once a Tenancy Tribunal adjudicator for unit titles. In addition, he is an expert in construction, trust, statutory land, general practice, and commercial law matters.
D’Ath concentrates on private client issues, especially property, trusts, wills and estates. Quek tackles private client, property and relationship property matters.
The team will be joined by office administrator Dinah Walsh, who will help with estate and client matters in addition to office administration work.
