The litigation partner is the first Kiwi to be appointed to the council of the international organisation

NZ firm partner named AIDA councilor

Jonathan Scragg has been appointed as a councillor of the Association Internationale de Droit des Assurances (AIDA), or the International Insurance Law Association.

He is the first Kiwi to be appointed to the organisation’s presidential council, which is its governing body.

Scragg is a Duncan Cotterill partner. He leads the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution team in Wellington.

He is the current president of the New Zealand Insurance Law Association.
