Norris Ward McKinnon names new managing partner

Norris Ward McKinnon (NWM) has named Sam Hood as managing partner.

Hood is an expert in civil litigation and employment law. He has appeared as lead counsel on matters before the High Court and Court of Appeal of New Zealand, as well the High Court and Court of Appeal of the Cook Islands.

He became an associate at NWM in 2009 and made partner in 2013. He was also a member of the New Zealand Law Society standards committee.

Hood’s practice covers a wide range of litigation and employment law areas, including contract and negligence disputes, restraints of trade and protection of confidential information claims, mediation, personal grievances, and employment disputes.
