Nominations Open: 2021 New Zealand Law Awards

The prestigious awards gala is back to spotlight the nation’s best law firms, in-house teams, individuals and dealmakers

Nominations Open: 2021 New Zealand Law Awards

The annual New Zealand Law Awards – presented by NZ Lawyer – proudly returns as a prestigious gala to celebrate the nation’s best and brightest legal professionals. It’s a true reflection of excellence in New Zealand’s legal profession.

Due to the pandemic, last year’s awards were moved to an online format, but with the vast majority of COVID-19 restrictions now being lifted, we are excited to announce that this year’s event will be face-to-face, allowing attendees to gather physically at the Cordis Auckland and cheer on their colleagues in person.

This year, we are seeking nominations across 27 prestigious categories that are open to law firms, in-house legal teams, individuals and dealmakers.

This is the perfect chance to acknowledge outstanding achievements and hard work over an extraordinary year, so we encourage you to nominate your firm/company or an exceptional colleague.

The online nomination process is straightforward, free and open until 2 July. Excellence awardees will be announced in NZ Lawyer and online channels in August.

Winners will be announced and celebrated at the highly anticipated awards gala on 18 November at the Cordis Auckland.

We look forward to your nominations and celebrating your remarkable achievements!

We extend special thanks to our award sponsors Artemis Executive Recruitment, James & Wells, Lane Neave, Resolution Institute and Russell McVeagh for supporting this event and the recognition of legal excellence.
