New Zealand Law Awards category spotlight: In-house awards

The 2017 New Zealand Law Awards will return to Auckland in November to recognise excellence in the legal profession across 28 categories.

Last week we looked at the awards recognising the best deals of the year; now it’s time to turn our attention to the outstanding work of the country’s best in-house teams and individuals.

In-house legal counsel and their teams are encouraged to enter the following categories:

  • Young In-house Lawyer of the Year – must be a qualified lawyer not exceeding 35 years of age as of 31 March 2017 and be permanently employed within the in-house legal function of an organisation operating in New Zealand

  • In-house Lawyer of the Year – must be a qualified lawyer permanently employed within the in-house legal function of an organisation operating in New Zealand

  • Financial Services In-house Team of the Year – must be an in-house legal team in a banking, insurance or financial services organisation operating in New Zealand

  • In-house Team of the Year – must be an in-house legal team in a non-financial services organisation operating in New Zealand

The 13th annual New Zealand Law Awards, proudly sponsored by Crowe Horwarth, will be held at The Langham, Auckland on Thursday, 23 November.
