Mortlock McCormack Law has welcomed a new associate.
Dan Chisholm has joined the firm as an associate in one of its commercial teams, the Christchurch firm said. He specialises in commercial and entertainment law, particularly in the music industry.
Chisholm specialises in a wide range of music-related agreements, including songwriter, recording, management, producer, publishing, distribution and licensing agreements, the firm said. He played music professionally before his legal career, which led him to specialise in entertainment law.
Also qualified in Victoria, Australia, Chisholm’s experience in commercial matters includes buying and selling businesses, contract drafting and advice, commercial leases, and company transactions, Mortlock McCormack said.
