Lighter Side: Panama Papers law firm gets unofficial t-shirt range

Online store produces hilarious ‘Panama Papers’ t-shirt memorabilia.

The law firm at the centre of the Panama Papers leak now has its own unofficial t-shirt range.

“Mossack Fonseca,” the shirt reads, accompanied by the firm’s logo.

“Because taxes are for poor people.”

Obviously some creative tag-lining by the company responsible to the t-shirt’s production, Mossack Fonseca’s tagline isn’t actually, ‘Because taxes are for poor people’.

According to Legal Cheek, the shirts are on sale at San-Francisco-based website Redbubble for around $28.

As the t-shirts hit the market, the Solicitors Regulation Authority has confirmed that it will contact all UK firms named in the documents, seeking assurances that they acted in accordance with the rules.  Founding partner Ramon Fonseca maintains the firm did nothing wrong.
