They bring experience from stints at KPMG, Warner Bros Discovery and Clifford Chance, among others
Gretchen Fraser and Monique van Bellen have joined Juno Legal's Auckland office.
Their additions strengthen the firm's offerings in technology, privacy and media and in corporate and insurance.
"Both are great examples of the strength and versatility of the Juno team. Gretchen has led an in-house legal team and provided legal support with clarity and calm in fast-changing, high-profile environments, and Monique’s international insurance work gives her a wide-angle view on risk, regulation, and how legal teams can enable business", Juno Legal client experience head Wendy Chen said.
Fraser is currently working with Seequent. She brings experience from previous roles as a KPMG special counsel and Australia and New Zealand legal director at Warner Bros. Discovery.
She also worked with Dentons, Vector, Hudson Gavin Martin, Simmons & Simmons (UK) and Russell McVeagh. She has handled media, technology, energy, and professional services matters for over two decades.
van Bellen worked in the London insurance market for almost 10 years as Wordings team leader and Beazley lawyer. She has handled global programmes across financial lines, healthcare, construction, and the legal professions; in particular, she concentrated on regulatory frameworks and contract drafting.
She gleaned experience at Neon Underwriting, Clifford Chance, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, TOWER Limited and DLA Piper. Presently, she is assisting Fujitsu New Zealand.
