“I was delighted to have been included in NZ Lawyer's inaugural In-house Leaders list in 2019. The in-house legal industry is often underestimated in terms of the quality and calibre of those operating within it—so it was great to be recognised in this way alongside other in-house counsel from around New Zealand,” said 2019 In-House Leader Jo Wong, general counsel and company secretary at SkyCity Entertainment Group Ltd.

Last year, 25 leading lawyers from across the country were honoured for standing above the rest in demonstrating leadership and commitment to innovation, efficiency, and creativity to achieve excellent results and meet the needs of their organisations.
