Blockchain and the future of smart contracts
Over the last 12 months, the legal application of blockchain technology has been growing in sophistication, complexity and acceptance. However, this brings with it several practical challenges.

Rachel Paris, Partner at Bell Gully will be covering this at NZ Lawyer’s next Contract Law Masterclass being held on 8 March. The session will cover how distributed database (ledger) technology works in practice; some of the challenges and opportunities presented by Ethereum and the jurisdictional issues relating to blockchain contracts.
