Asia New Zealand Foundation selects solicitor Lushomo Thebe for Leadership Network

Solicitor Lushomo Thebe has been chosen to join the Asia New Zealand Foundation’s Leadership Network programme, which brings together young Kiwi leaders.

The network offers leaders access to connections and knowledge to engage with the Asia region.

“In my work, I see how important Asia is to our legal and commercial landscape, and I’m inspired by the relationships and trust built across cultures. Joining the Leadership Network is a fantastic opportunity to learn from others and help strengthen our connections with Asia for the benefit of our business community and Aotearoa”, Thebe said.

Thebe works with Chapman Tripp’s corporate practice. She focuses on TMT, tackling commercial contracts, privacy, IP and innovation.

YWCA recognised her among its 25 women under 25 making a major difference in Aotearoa New Zealand in 2022. She has since taken a seat on the YWCA board.

Last year, she was a speaker at leadership and innovation summit Festival for the Future. She is also a listed speaker and champion for women’s and migrant rights in the Gender at Work Speaker Directory.

Each year, hundreds apply for the Asia New Zealand Foundation’s Leadership Network programme.
