Anthony Harper has promoted four and hired two in its newest announcement regarding its staff.
Sarah Duncraft, Matt Winter, Harriet Quinlan and Tim Grimwood have been promoted to associates while the firm has also hired Lucy George as an associate and Dominique Unkovich as a solicitor.
Duncraft (Auckland) and Winter (Christchurch) have both been promoted to Associates within the firm’s property team while Harriet Quinlan (Auckland) and Tim Grimwood (Christchurch) have been promoted to Associates within the firm’s litigation team.
Anthony Harper notes that Duncraft and Winter are “integral to the success the [property] team have had,” having been recently ranked as one of the top ten property practices in the country.
“Their focus, attention to detail and pragmatism has been greatly appreciated by their clients and team mates alike,” says the firm.
Duncraft advises clients on a range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions and divestments, leasing, subdivision and construction matters.

Winter has a double degree in Law and Commerce and has experience of property transactions, particularly in the growing and evolving Christchurch market.

Meanwhile, the firm notes that its litigation team is also ranked in the top ten practices in New Zealand.
Quinlan focuses on commercial litigation with a particular focus on construction and insolvency disputes. In 2016, she won the Auckland Regional final of the New Zealand Law Foundation National Young Lawyer Mooting Competition.

Grimwood joined Anthony Harper in 2016 after gaining extensive qualification in geography, nursing, a diploma in tropical medicine before training as a solicitor. Both Quinland and Grimwood bring a wealth of experience and talent to the team, the firm notes.

Unkovich joins the firm as a solicitor in the corporate advisory team. Unkovich was previously in-house counsel at Burger Fuel.
Lucy George joins the firm as an Associate in the litigation team starting 14 February. She recently returned to New Zealand following just over 3 years in the United Kingdom where she worked for the Royal Bank of Scotland as legal Counsel and subsequently as Head of Legal for the Financial Conduct Authority Review.
Both Unkovich and George will be based at the firm’s Auckland office.
