Webb Henderson expands corporate practice with new partner

Webb Henderson has announced that it has bolstered the finance capability of its corporate practice with the appointment of Nicole Xanthopol as partner, effective 1 July.

Xanthopol joins Webb Henderson from Kensington Swan, where she headed up the firm’s banking and finance group and co-led the restructuring and insolvency group. Prior to that, she was a partner in the finance group at Linklaters in London.

In her new role, Xanthopol will integrate her practice with Webb Henderson’s corporate and finance group in Auckland.

“Nicole is highly respected in the market for her strong technical ability, wide range of experience, commercial overlay, and personable approach,” the firm said in a statement. “We are really looking forward to working with her and to introducing her to our clients.”
