Mcdonald, a member of the regional leadership division for the company’s engineering business, heads two high performing legal teams responsible for providing specialist capabilities in transport, infrastructure, telecommunications, utilities and renewable energy. He is widely admired for his ‘people first’ approach – he has actively mentored lawyers and helped build strong, responsive and commercially astute in-house legal teams. In recent years, Mcdonald has also become an advocate within the business and the legal industry for future focused, ‘low and high-tech’ driven process improvements. He’s championed two significant process and document automation projects for the business, and successfully delivered a complex ‘self-service’ procurement document tool for use on Lendlease projects – designed for use by project engineers, commercial managers and other project personnel.
