In-house Leaders 2019

In the ever-changing landscape of the retail industry, Landers has prompted focus on business education and empowerment to ensure that all of her team members have legal compliance at the forefront of their minds. This has created a true culture of "start here, go anywhere" for Cotton On. Since taking over as group legal manager at the beginning of the year, Landers has demonstrated leadership by improving business processes through team and function reviews and by ensuring that all processes are replicated globally. Landers has also been working with the business leaders to implement new and innovative projects such as Cotton On’s recent partnership with the first Australian neo bank – Volt – to guarantee regulatory compliance. By proactively initiating catch ups with both internal and external stakeholders, Landers has proven effective in open communication and has also taken the lead in ensuring that the business is prepared for market-changing circumstances or changes in the law.
