As general counsel at Stanwell Corporation which deals in energy and resources, and more specifically electricity – a highly regulated and dynamic operating environment – Ware is kept on his toes most of the time. His key moments at Stanwell include: contributing to the ACC’s submission to the parliamentary joint committee on corporations and financial services on the inquiry into whistleblower protections in the corporate, public and not-for-profit sectors. And, more recently, he was involved in Coronado Global Resources’ initial public offering and $3.87 billion listing on the Australian Securities Exchange. Ware is also the inaugural chair of the Queensland Law Society's in-house counsel committee and chair of the well-being working group.
