In January 2018, he put together HESTA’s royal commission response team and has since led it to proactively manage media and public relation risks; contain legal risks; carry out internal business stakeholder management; and coach the CEO and COO on public responses and as potential witnesses in the royal commission hearings. Lam pays heavy focus on innovating the way his legal team delivers support to the business.
