In the past year, Nguyen has played a crucial role in driving acquisitions for the TEG Group in the Philippines, and facilitating the launches of Ticketek’s Singapore business and Ticketek’s online secondary market platform. He’s successfully led negotiations for exclusive ticketing rights for iconic venues like Melbourne & Olympic Park, Suncorp Stadium and Bankwest Stadium and managed legal negotiations for popular tours involving Eminem, Katy Perry, and the USAB men's basketball team tour. But that’s not all that Nguyen’s done for TEG. He’s worked extensively with government authorities to police the enforcement of legislative laws pertaining to ticket scalping, and implemented a legal operations function within his team to develop a number of initiatives as part of a continuous improvement mindset. A key aspect of this has been to adopt technology for workflow management and data driven decision making processes.
