Thomson Geer advises on Renold's $6m acquisition of Davidson Chain

Thomson Geer has confirmed its role in the $6m acquisition of local conveyor chain maker and distributor Davidson Chain by global chain manufacturer Renold.

The firm represented Renold’s Australian arm, Renold Australia Pty Ltd. Renold acquired Davidson Chain on a cash-free, debt-free basis, according to The Business Desk. Following the deal, the management team at Davidson Chain has transitioned to Renold.

Thomson Geer explained that the acquisition “increases Renold's access to the Australian conveyor chain market and provides opportunities for significant manufacturing synergies between both operations.”

Thomson Geer advised Renold Australia on all aspects of the acquisition, including transaction documentation, conducting due diligence, competition, and cross-border matters.
