Pinsent Masons advises Lamb Weston Australia on third Australian acquisition

Pinsent Masons has advised Lamb Weston Australia on its acquisition of potato cake manufacturer and food coating facility Food Coatings Australia.

This marks the third acquisition by Lamb Weston in Australia and aims to expand the company’s product offering.

“Having advised Lamb Weston on two previous acquisitions pre-COVID, it was great to be able to work with Lamb Weston again on a third acquisition, helping them to further their growth in Australia,” said Ewan Robertson, transactional services partner at Pinsent Masons.

Robertson and senior associate Lisa Meyer led a cross-practice, multi-office team in working on the acquisition.

In 2019, Pinsent Masons also advised Lamb Weston in its acquisition of Victoria-based frozen potato processor Ready Meals Pty Ltd.
