NSW firm Conditsis Lawyers has launched a new commercial/business law team in Newcastle to be led by new hire Sue Walter.

The firm said that the new offering was a response to rising demand in this field of law. Walter brings over ten years of experience in commercial law that covers corporate and contractual disputes, insolvency, trademark infringement, defamation, estate litigation, and debt recovery.

She has appeared before the NSW Supreme Court, local court, tribunals and NCAT.

A longtime Hunter Region resident, Walter said that she was eager to grow the new team.

“The appointment of such a motivated high achiever in Ms Walter reflects the firm's enthusiasm and vision for expansion into the commercial law realm and have no doubt that she will set new bench marks for commercial lawyers in the Newcastle/Hunter region”, said Manny Conditsis, founder and managing director of Conditsis Lawyers.

In addition to its office in Newcastle, the firm has branches in Sydney, Gosford and Wollongong.
