Dentons has expanded its banking and finance team with the addition of new partner Yechiel Belfer in Melbourne.

Belfer specialises in the regulation of financial services and consumer credit. He has advised on financial services and credit licensing and regulation, consumer credit, anti-money laundering regulations, payment systems, privacy, as well as the distribution, disclosure, and establishment of banking and financial products.

He has also dealt with issues involving PPSA securities interests and funds management. His clients include major financial institutions and fintechs, both local and global.

“In line with our wider growth strategy, our market-leading financial institutions practice is growing quickly.
