Thomson Geer acts in acquisition of ACT's largest rooftop solar system

Thomson Geer has acted for ReNu Energy on its acquisition of the largest rooftop solar power system in the Australian Capital Territory.

The national firm advised on all legal aspects of the recently closed deal for the 600kW Amaroo School Solar Project, which was acquired from VivoPower Australia. The project is underpinned by a 20-year ACT government feed-in tariff scheme.

The final financial details of the deal are confidential.

Thomson Geer’s team was led by partner Eugene Fung, who was assisted by graduate lawyer Thomas Gardner.

“We look forward to continued involvement with the company as it matures further deals in its pipeline and expands its portfolio of clean energy assets,” Fung said.
