Thomson Geer absorbs Perth boutique

Thomson Geer has absorbed Perth-based boutique firm Tottle Partners in a move that expands its operations and capabilities in Western Australia.

The merger is set to take effect on 1 July. As part of the merger, Tottle Partners’ Stephen Penrose, Lee Panotidis, Richard Wilenski and Yin Fang will join Thomson Geer along with their 19-member team, which specialises in litigation and construction law.

“Our strong growth and capability in transaction advisory has triggered our need for more depth in our litigation team, which our merger with Tottle will provide. The boost to our construction team also comes at a time when Australia is experiencing an infrastructure boom across public projects, health, and energy. We look forward to being able to assist from the east coast to the west”, said Thomson Geer CEP Adrian Tembel.

Tottle Partners was launched in 1995 by Paul Tottle, who joined the WA Supreme Court bench in 2015.
