SPB takes energy and resources national lead Michael Brady from HWL Ebsworth

Squire Patton Boggs (SPB) has taken energy and resources national sector lead Michael Brady from HWL Ebsworth.

Brady joins SPB as a partner in its corporate practice group in Perth. He specialises in corporate, commercial and securities law, focusing on the mining, energy and resources sectors.

He brings more than 17 years’ experience in M&A, inbound foreign investment, and the structuring, financing, and development of energy and mining projects. He has also tackled matters related to regulatory compliance, tenure, access and approvals, corporate governance, and equity capital markets.

Brady is admitted to practise in WA and has worked at both national and international law firms in Perth. He also served as general counsel and company secretary of an ASX-listed mining exploration company from 2014 to 2015. He is the current national president of the Energy Resources Law Association.
