Maddocks welcomes midyear with 64 promotions

Maddocks has elevated 64 coming into the middle of the year.

The record promotions round includes the firm’s new partners, as well as 11 special counsel, 17 senior associates, 23 associates and 9 support services staff.

The firm indicated that the promotions reflected a “solid year of growth” driven by a wider client base and the handling of major matters. The firm recently confirmed its role in deals such as the $2.3bn acquisition of PSC Insurance and the signing of the Eighth Community Pharmacy Agreement.

Maddocks partner Ilan Kraus was also named a Dealmaker of the Year in Australasian Lawyer’s first-ever Dealmakers of the Year report.

"It has been a transformational year for Maddocks on many fronts. We have continued to grow our practice teams to meet the rising demand from our expanding client base. It’s more important than ever that we continue to invest in the careers of our people together with exploring new technologies and innovative solutions to ensure we meet our clients' ever-changing needs", Maddocks CEO David Newman said.
