She has worked with ASX listers and government bodies
Commercial litigator Hannah Brown has bolstered the partnership in Piper Alderman’s dispute resolution and litigation practice.
She commenced with the Sydney office on 7 October. She specialises in litigation funding and has collaborated with litigation funders on plaintiff-led class actions.
Brown has worked across New Zealand, the UK and Australia, being qualified to practise in all three areas. She has acted for clients in contractual disputes, negligence claims, competition and consumer law, corporations’ legislation, fraud and alleged breaches of fiduciary duties.
She has led high-value and complex matters before the Federal Court and state Supreme Courts. She has acted for ASX-listed companies, major financial institutions, government bodies, property developers, construction companies and individuals.
“Having collaborated with Hannah on various projects for nearly five years, I know firsthand the expertise and dedication she brings. We are fortunate to have her join us as we add to the depth of our national litigation capabilities”, said Martin del Gallego, partner and practice team lead at Piper Alderman.
The firm said that Brown’s experience bolstered its expertise in funded commercial litigation claims like class actions, insolvency, construction and intellectual property claims, and treaty enforcement.
