Linklaters expands Asia financial regulation and structured finance and derivatives practices

Linklaters has welcomed Evan Lam as a partner in the firm’s financial regulation and structured finance and derivatives practices in Singapore.

Joining from Ashurst, Lam was a partner and head of the Singapore financial regulation practice. Prior to this he was a partner at Allen & Gledhill in Singapore.

Lam has extensive experience advising international and domestic clients on the full spectrum of Singapore financial regulations, with particular expertise in sectors such as banking and securities regulation, fintech, ESG and funds. He also advises clients on derivatives, supporting industry bodies and financial institutions in connection with derivatives regulatory reform, netting and collateral enforceability, and derivatives and structured product transactions.
