Latham & Watkins boosts insurance transactional practice in New York

Latham & Watkins LLP has added Kirsten Gaeta to the the firm’s New York office as a partner in the mergers & acquisitions practice and member of the corporate department. She joins from Clifford Chance, where she spent seven years in the corporate insurance group.

 In her new role, Gaeta advises insurance companies and financial sponsors on a wide range of corporate transactions in the insurance industry, with a particular focus on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions involving the insurance and financial services sectors.

In addition to M&A, Gaeta’s experience includes insurance-focused capital markets transactions, entity formation and licensing, insurer investments, reinsurance, and insurance coverage matters.
