KWM leads as construction giant enters recycling business

King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) has helped a major construction materials company enter the recycling and asphalt business.

KWM acted for Hanson Australia on its acquisition of Alex Fraser Group. The Australia-based company, which was listed for sale in 2017 by UK-based Swire Group, was acquired for about $208m.

M&A partner Adrian Perkins in Sydney led the KWM team. He was assisted by senior associate James Slimnicanovski, as well as solicitors Will Mason, Sam Monk, and Will Bartlett.
