Kain Lawyers assists My Care Solution on sale to Healthcare Australia

Kain Lawyers has assisted My Care Solution with its sale to Healthcare Australia (HCA) in a deal described by the firm as “a significant milestone for the Australian aged care sector”.

HCA officially took full ownership of My Care Solution on 1 May.

“The aged care and healthcare sectors continue to attract the attention of private capital providers who are keen to put their capital to work in consolidating what has historically been a fragmented provider market”, said Kain Lawyers director Gerry Cawson, who co-led the firm’s team alongside associate director Sam Christie.

My Care Solution received a high ranking in this year’s AFR Best Places to Work survey. HCA, owned by Sydney-based Crescent Capital Partners, employs approximately 15,000 healthcare workers and clinicians across Australia, serving both public and private hospital groups, residential aged-care facilities, and home-based individuals.
