Global firm Kennedys has logged 13 percent growth for the financial year 1 May 2024 to 30 April 2025 – the 11th straight year in which it has recorded growth.

Latin America ticked up by 27.1 percent and reported nearly £13m in revenue. North America’s revenue increased by 22 percent and it nearly hit £110m in revenue.

Revenue in EMEA, APAC, and the UK rose by 13.6 percent, 11.5 percent, and 8.8 percent, respectively. The firm reported a record £428m in revenue overall.

“The firm’s global growth aspirations are clearly evidenced through these results. We have made deliberate strategic decisions, establishing new offices in key jurisdictions, while also prioritising new leadership across the firm. I believe this commitment to evolving our firm globally, will continue to drive us forward collectively, while we remain laser focused on delivering exceptional work for all our clients,” Kennedys senior partner John Bruce said in a statement.

The firm has opened branches in Los Angeles and Seattle. It also spearheaded the following major international cases:

  • Acting for (re)insurers in multi-billion dollar claims from major aviation lessors that arose after Russian airlines did not return 500 Western-leased aircraft as a result of UK/EU sanctions
  • Tackling claims from the Greensill Capital collapse, working across London and Australia
  • Advising insurers on PFAS-related liabilities, including coverage for US$12bn+ settlements in the AFFF multi-district litigation in the US
  • Helping World Rugby defend construction group actions brought by over 350 ex-players

“We have an ambitious goal of US$1bn (£740m/€880m) global turnover by 2030. By investing in our people, processes and infrastructure and innovating together, we will create a firm that is fit for the future. I’m really excited for what lies ahead at Kennedys,” Bruce said.

Bruce became senior partner in January, replacing Nick Thomas who remains a partner with Kennedys. Meg Catalano was also named global managing partner last November.
