Baker McKenzie acted for Moelis Advisory Australia, which was the sole lead manager and underwriter to Windlab, which is seeking to raise $50m in an initial public offering.

Established to commercialise the cutting-edge atmospheric modelling and wind energy assessment technology developed by Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, Windlab develops, finances, constructs, and operates wind farms globally. It currently has 48 projects.

David Holland, Baker McKenzie’s head of Asia Pacific capital markets, was lead partner for the deal. He was assisted by special counsel Hoda Nahlous.
