Bernice Witkowski made history at the firm as the first non-lawyer in the exec leadership
DMAW Lawyers has named executive general manager Bernice Witkowski as the firm’s inaugural CEO.
The appointment comes on the firm’s 22nd year in the industry. According to founding principal Leo Walsh, it “sets the foundations for a planned and managed transition of the senior management of the business over the coming years”.
“Bernice’s elevation to CEO is aligned with her increased responsibilities and senior leadership contribution at DMAW Lawyers. Last year, Witkowski made history at DMAW Lawyers as the first-ever non-lawyer to become part of the executive leadership when she ascended to the role of executive general manager after four years as people and culture manager. As CEO, she will be collaborating with the board of directors to execute the firm’s strategic plan, as well as to drive growth and operations, DMAW Lawyers said.

DMAW Lawyers recently celebrated achieving over 20% year-on-year revenue growth across its service offerings.
