Creevey Horrell Lawyers, a full-service law firm in Australia, has announced that it has carried out its plans to grow its business in regional Queensland by opening an office in Chinchilla, around 300 kilometres northwest of Brisbane.

In its media release, the firm also announced the appointment of Renee Cahill, a local in the town, to head its new Chinchilla office.

“Chinchilla has long been an important part of the Western Downs, and this new office reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting regional communities, not just through legal services, but by being present and engaged,” said Dan Creevey, Creevey Horrell’s principal, in the media release.

“By establishing a permanent base in Chinchilla, we’re making it easier for clients to access legal support without the need to travel, while continuing to deliver the same trusted expertise and service our clients expect,” he added.

More on Renee Cahill

Cahill has over a decade of experience within the legal industry, with a focus on property law.

“Joining a large regional firm is an exciting step in my career, but doing so in Chinchilla makes it even more meaningful,” Cahill said in the media release.

“Renee gives us a tremendous presence in Chinchilla, and she will be supported by visiting members of our legal team,” Creevey added.

“My husband and I are raising our five children here, and the safe, close-knit nature of the community is something we deeply value,” Cahill said. “I’m proud to contribute to the town both professionally and personally.”

Beyond Chinchilla

Apart from its new office in Chinchilla, Creevey Horrell also has offices in Toowoomba, Brisbane, Townsville, and Roma.

The firm shared that it recently expanded its Brisbane crime and misconduct division by welcoming lawyers from McGinness & Associates.

Creevey Horrell’s lawyers practise across the areas of commercial law, property, agribusiness, litigation, dispute resolution, crime, family law, personal injuries, and wills and estates.

Creevey noted that the firm, with its commitment to growth, aims to expand throughout the rural and regional areas.

“With our Chinchilla office now open and further plans progressing across North Queensland, we’re continuing to invest in regional communities for the long term,” stated the firm’s LinkedIn post
