He joins the firm as a senior legal counsel with expertise in family and relationships law
Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers has launched a family law offering and welcomed family and relationships law expert Paul Lewis as a senior legal counsel.
Lewis will mainly work across the firm's Sydney and Parramatta offices. According to Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers, he was among the first lawyers in Australia to receive training in collaborative law in 2005.
He was accredited as a dispute resolution specialist in 2018. He is also an accredited family law specialist.
"Paul has significant experience in the family law space, having worked in private legal practice with a focus on family law and mediation for more than 30 years. He has a reputation for settling hard cases, in parenting matters and financial disputes", Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers managing partner Hanaan Indari said.
Indari explained that the firm intends to offer "a comprehensive suite of legal services across the life cycle of personal law that includes wills and estate planning, property transactions, family law, injury and compensation law, as well as business law for all sizes of family enterprises".
Lewis said he was looking forward to mentoring "the next generation of family lawyers".
