Australia's best boutiques for 2021 crowned

35 boutique firms that recorded growth in a turbulent year prove size doesn't matter

Australia's best boutiques for 2021 crowned

The leading boutique firms in Australia for 2021 have been crowned in the inaugural Top Boutique Firms report, which spotlights the small law firms that not only survived, but thrived during a turbulent year.

A number of boutiques were able to quickly shift to remote work arrangements because they had prepared themselves for the future by implementing the systems and tech needed for lawyers to be able to work from home. Moreover, some firms showed remarkable adaptability by adjusting their practice areas to respond to the needs of the community during COVID-19.

Other firms built on their expertise in crucial areas such as employment, workplace health and safety and tax law, with COVID-19-related concerns causing the demand for advice in these fields to spike.
