In-house Leaders 2019

Malcolm Swan is an experienced commercial in-house lawyer, having worked previously in senior in-house roles for Spark, Bauer, and Progressive Enterprises (now Woolworths). He has been responsible for the McDonald's legal team moving to hot-desking and going paperless, championing the transition to a new electronic filing system. Additionally, Swan sits on the McDonald's country management team and engages with McDonald's headquarters and his counterparts in a number of jurisdictions. In addition to his ‘day job’, Swan is also chair of the Advertising Standards Codes Committee. This is a voluntary role, but is one that is crucial to any business in New Zealand that engages in advertising.
