Julian Benefield, Associate General Counsel, Foodstuffs
In-house Leaders 2019

Julian Benefield is an integral part of Foodstuffs’ legal team. Over the last few years, the business has gone through a major digital transformation – including entering the online shopping space – a process in which Benefield has been integral. One of his greatest strengths is his ability to empower people within Foodstuffs with knowledge and information that helps them make sound business decisions. An initiative that exemplifies his commitment to the business is his involvement in the 'Foodies Foundation' as a trustee. The foundation was set up as a central vehicle to help Foodstuffs’ family (owner businesses in the cooperative) in times of hardship.
