Responsible for leading a large legal team, Cassidy has an extremely broad set of responsibilities and legislation to abide by. Her role is significant as the BNZ and wider banking community responds to culture and conduct concerns, and transforms the way Kiwis access and use their money – including the introduction of open banking principles. In just six months, Cassidy has already built a strong team and empowered her people to create a centre of excellence in providing strategic legal services. She has quickly earned the respect of the BNZ board and executive team.
