In-house Leaders 2019

As MBIE’s chief legal advisor, Ann Brennan’s working life is never dull. MBIE has a broad, diverse and often complex range of activities arising from its responsibilities towards 100+ statutes, 17 regulatory systems and support of 15 ministers. While Brennan herself works across MBIE as an advisor on complex and sensitive matters and in governance roles, her most significant contribution is through her leadership of the ministry's legal, ethics and privacy branch, made up of 80 lawyers and technical specialists, and to the broader profession.
