Buddle Findlay has announced the promotion of three staff to senior associate as of 1 January.

Libby Cowper hails from the firm’s Wellington office, while Maria Clezy and Michelle Glading are based in Auckland.

Cowper specialises in resource management and Māori law. In addition to her work with Buddle Findlay, she advises the Office for Māori Crown Relations – Te Arawhiti on Treaty of Waitangi settlement negotiations.

Clezy is a specialist in taxation and advises New Zealand and international clients on income tax and GST matters, including inbound and outbound investment and corporate restructuring. She was recognised as one of NZ Lawyer’s Rising Stars for 2020.

Glading specialises in commercial and intellectual property in the technology, media and telecommunications sector.
