Wellington firm promotes partner and associate
Sarah Churstain joins Ford Sumner as partner, effective 1 April. The Wellington commercial law firm has also promoted Jono Cole to associate.

Churstain joined Ford Sumner after finishing her law and finance degree from Waikato University in 2008. Her practice areas are commercial structures and relationships, property, and work. She is an approved counsel of the Accident Compensation Corporation.

Cole, a staff lawyer of the firm since 2013, also deals with commercial structures and relationships and property.

The firm also recently added Angela Yiavasis and Sophie Wright to the team. Ford Sumner is strengthening its position and focusing on future service, which includes investing in technology for legal services delivery, partner Mark Ford said.
