Warranties, indemnities and exclusions remain challenging in contract negotiations
The indemnity clause is the most contested clause in any contract negotiation. Join Kim Francis, partner at Meredith Connell at NZ Lawyer’s Contract Law Masterclass this March to review trends and best practice in the use of indemnities, exclusion clauses and limits on liability across various sectors.

The session will cover the most common indemnities being used; the interaction between insurance policy terms and indemnifications in contractual arrangements; the impact of removing an indemnity for a consequential loss clause and other areas of complexity.

More information about the program is available here.

A limited number of discount tickets are available for the masterclass, which will be held on8 March at the Pullman Hotel in Auckland. Legal practitioners who need to fulfil CPD requirements can accrue up to six CPD points.
