Waikato firm announces three new appointments

Waikato law firm Harkness Henry has announced the appointment of Laura Fischer and Jessica Mathieson as solicitors, and Katelyn Silvester as a law clerk.

Fischer will join the firm’s litigation team. Prior to joining the firm, she practised family law in Rotorua and general litigation in Te Awamutu. She has particular expertise in relationship property matters, both contentious and non-contentious. Laura was admitted to the bar in March 2014 after graduating from the University of Waikato.

Mathieson will join the firm’s resource management and employment team. She was admitted to the bar in last March after completing a law degree with first class honours from the University of Waikato.

Silvester will be employed as a law clerk in the private-client team. She has law and social science degrees from the University of Waikato and is completing her professionals.
